Peek into Perfection — Terms & Conditions

Last updated: [11/26/2025]

Welcome to Peek into Perfection, operated by Bruna and Karla Medeiros. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) outline the policies, responsibilities, and agreements between Peek into Perfection (“the Company”) and our clients (“the Client”). By booking our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

Peek into Perfection provides event planning, coordination, design, and consulting services for weddings, corporate, social, and cultural events. The exact scope of services will be detailed in the event proposal and signed service agreement for each client.

2. Payments & Deposits

  • A non-refundable retainer fee (typically 30–50% of the total service cost) is required to secure your event date.
  • The remaining balance is due according to the schedule outlined in your service agreement (e.g., 50% due 30 days before the event).
  • Services will not begin until the retainer has been received and the service agreement signed.
  • Late payments may result in delays or suspension of services until payment is received.

3. Cancellations & Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change. However, when an event is canceled, we often have already invested significant time and resources that cannot be recovered. To protect our work and time:

  • Retainers and deposits are non-refundable.
  • If the Client cancels.
  • Before any planning begins: Only the retainer is forfeited.
  • After planning has begun but before the event date (within 90–30 days): The Client is responsible for 50–75% of the total service fee, depending on the amount of work completed.
  • Within 30 days of the event: The Client is responsible for 100% of the total fee, as most of the work and vendor commitments will have been finalized.
  • If the event is postponed, the retainer can be applied to a new date (subject to availability) within 6 months of the original event date.
  • Peek into Perfection reserves the right to cancel services if payment terms are not met or in the event of a breach of contract by the Client.

Compensation for Work Completed

If a project or event is canceled after planning has begun, Peek into Perfection will provide a detailed summary of work completed (emails, design work, meetings, vendor coordination, etc.). The Client agrees to compensate the Company for all hours and expenses incurred up to the date of cancellation, even if full payment is not yet due.

5. Rescheduling & Force Majeure

If an event must be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances (natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, etc.), Peek into Perfection will make every effort to accommodate the new date without penalty.

However, if the new date conflicts with prior bookings or increases costs, an additional rescheduling fee may apply.

6. Vendor Contracts

Peek into Perfection may assist in recommending and managing vendors but is not legally responsible for the performance or contractual obligations of any third-party vendor. Clients are encouraged to review all vendor contracts independently.

7. Liability

Peek into Perfection is not liable for injury, loss, or damage to persons or property during any event, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct by the Company.

8. Intellectual Property

All creative materials, mood boards, design concepts, and planning documents created by Peek into Perfection remain the intellectual property of the Company unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. Language & Communication

Peek into Perfection offers services and documentation in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. All contracts, proposals, and invoices can be provided in the Client’s preferred language.

10. Agreement

By booking services with Peek into Perfection and/or submitting a deposit, the Client acknowledges they have read and agree to all terms listed above.
